COMBINED UV AND IR FILTER FOR 190 DEGREE FIELD OF VIEW FISHEYE LENS
General Specifications:
Introduction:
The ORIVBF1 is a thin format optical filter suitable for adding to a CMOS or CCD image sensor cameras to limit the out of band optical frequencies that alter the color correctness of images from these sensors. It is very thin at only 0.5mm, making it suitable for cameras and lens systems with a small back focal length, like the ORIFL190-3 fisheye lens. Each ORIVBF1 filter is glass and comes individually packaged in a gel-pak container with one filter ready for installation. The filter is typically glued to the cover glass of the image sensor package using optical glass adhesive. The improvement in color correctness is significant and readily noticeable for most image sensors and camera systems. The image shown is of a Gretag Macbeth color chart through the ORIFL190-3 lens using a 1/2″ format Omnivision 9630 CMOS image sensor at 1280 x 1024 pixel
